I’ve been on the lookout for a beautiful, reddish brown mascara for years since my Max Factor Auburn 2000 Calorie mascara was discontinued in the US. As a proud redhead, black-brown and plain black mascaras don’t work. I’ve tried several mascaras targeted at redheads and while the colors are great, the formulas are terrible. I’ve been wanting to try the kitten lash mascara but have been waiting to see if a brown shade would be released. My prayers have been answered and I love the burnt umber shade. It defines and has impact without being harsh like black (I have fair skin and lashes). The mascara wears well, I haven’t seen the flakes or smudges that I would see with my other mascaras (though I have yet to wear it in the humid summer). So far I’m really happy with this mascara.
