This was a surprisingly flattering color for my fair to light cool skin. I would never have chosen this color myself, but it looks better on me than other lipsticks. I have chosen myself.

The Velvet Lipstick (in the shade Muse) was the very first product I purchased from Lisa Eldridge, and I absolutely fell in love with it. From that moment on, I started trying more of her products, and the results have been consistently fantastic.
As for the Velvet Fawn, it's my perfect nude, and everything about it—the formula, texture, pigmentation, and lasting power—is spot on. I love how it feels on the lips and how beautifully it wears throughout the day. It’s now a staple in my makeup bag.
