Application
Apply Liquid Lurex directly to the eyelids with the applicator and blend out immediately with fingertips or a brush for a sparkling wash of colour. For more intense coverage apply a second layer for seamless full coverage disco drama. Liquid Lurex can also be used as an eyeliner either using a small liner brush or blended as a smoky line along the upper and lower lash line for a subtle flash of shimmering colour.
Once set the shadow dries to a completely smudge proof finish and will not move. Most skin types will not need to use primer underneath however, if you have very oily eyelids you can use your usual eye primer underneath as it will not effect the look or finish. When the party’s over, I would recommend using an oil-based makeup remover for easy removal. Screw cap on firmly after use, to prevent the product from drying out.

I’m on my second bottle of Emily Liquid Lurex Eyeshadow. I have other colors in this formula but Emily is my favorite. It adds just the right amount of subtle sparkle to brighten the eyes and pull together a look on a light makeup day.

This color is beautiful and makes my green eyes pop. Once it sets, it doesn’t budge. For me there was a learning curve to using the shadow. I don’t think I put enough shadow on and then I used a brush to diffuse. However, it looked super glittery. Next time I used more shadow and it looked stunning.

I love these Liquid Lurex shadows. Having been totally smitten with the Titania one I got a few months ago, I thought I'd try Anais. This one is a lovely pale gold without any yellow undertone. Very subtle, but beautiffully sparkly. These are fantastically hard wearing too.

Although I really like this and Emily is a very flattering colour it is quite glam for everyday, so will probably use it for evening. Maybe I need to glam up everyday though!
