I adore the effortless, neither matte nor shiny texture of this formulation! Much as I also love Lisa's velvets and velveteens, rouge experience is ideal for days when I don't want to shout "I'm wearing lipstick!" Simone does take a bit of effort to pair for me with my mix of warm and cool tones, but the texture makes a shade of caramel accessible to me that I'd otherwise really struggle to wear.

I'd feared that Romy might be a bit too cool for me--my face has a mix of warm and cool tones, and cool lipsticks tend to look purple and unhealthy on me--but Romy turns out to be the nude of my dreams--ideal for evening out my lips and adding some definition when I want a monotone look, especially when I'm wearing a lot of color in my clothes.

Bohemian Cherry is turning out to be quite the versatile colour as I can quite distinctively change up the look depending on how it's applied. While it has the potential to look a little patchy on my lips, it is also quite forgiving notwithstanding how deep the colour is.

Romy is a perfect match for my naturel lip colour which is great for creating an even tone on my lips that's comfortable for an everyday put together look. It's a joy to put on,

This is my 5th Rouge Experience.. that’s how impressed I am with the formula.. soft but strong in colour is the consistent theme across all shades, 1 swipe gives a gentle pop of fresh pink.. 2 swipes and a brighter but still natural pink finish..
