I've always slightly regretted not buying the lip pencils that matched their lipsticks when I went to Lisa's pop-up store in Covent Garden a couple of years ago. For some reason, I was browsing through reviews and saw one praising this colour specifically (I don't own the Velvet Affair lipstick though). It looked versatile enough for me to purchase it and it glides on perfectly. It is pricy, but I'm sure I'll get to use it non-stop.

This is the perfect match for Love of My Life lucent lip colour, which is coming on my winter sun holiday. These lip pencils glide on so easily they are as much a joy to wear as their matching lipsticks. Don’t buy a lipstick without one!

I love the formula of these pencils, glides on with little drag, good color payoff, long lasting. The caps need to be snuggled on to the pencil to keep it from drying out. However even making sure the lid was always tight on my pencil one day the pencil just crumbled to bits and fell out. I don’t think they have a super long shelf-life.
