I originally bought this in shade 7 and it looked a bit light overall so I ordered shade 9 which is about a shade to dark for me but the perfect undertone. Mixing shade 7 and 9 equally makes a perfect match for me right now. I use an airless pump bottle for the mix so I can control how much comes out. One thing to be careful of is when you pump the bottle it comes in too much or too fast, the little nozzle that regulates how much comes out pops out, but its not a big deal for me since I[m mixing colors into a separate container. I also learned with trial and error the right skin prep to use, and once I did that and applied in small amounts at a time, it looks great throughout at 9 hour day, and needs minimal setting or touchups.
