Firstly, I appreciate that LE does not use aggressive skincare that goes deep into the skin that could negatively alter the benefits of my normal skincare routine. The skincare in her foundation and tint are more for protecting and conditioning the surface of the skin. I use the Seamless Skin Tint in my exact skin tone and then use The Foundation in a lighter shade to brighten and lift shadows in the center of my face and above my cheekbones for a lifting / wide-awake effect. Completely undetectable. (I use a face blending brush and really buff it in) Even the lightest application really covers those shadows and brightens naturally while hiding any texture issues. Send an outdoor photo of yourself without makeup to Lisa's team and they will match you with your foundation shade and, if you ask, a lighter shade in the right tone to brighten. These little MUA tips require such a small amount of product but make a huge difference.. especially for ladies like myself who are over 40 and do not want to look overly made up but instead refreshed in any lighting.

I have sensitive, rosacea-prone skin with redness all over. There is something about this foundation that does not just cover optimally, without being too much, but it also soothe my skin and makes it feel and look beautiful. I wear this practically every day, often even on days when I stay at home. And there is one more thing: lately I simply don´t put on powder, or only use a very little on the T-zone. That has never happened with any other foundation. I love this product!

I bought shade no 5 after being colour matched at Liberty but sadly after I bought it on the website I can see it is too pale for me. The excellent Customer Services team have agreed to swap it for shade no 7 for which I am very grateful because the product itself is beautiful. The texture and coverage are perfect - it's just a shame to have to go through the process of an exchange when I am so desperate to use this wonderful foundation.
